One thing this franchise is quite good at (I mean, for a children's show) is villains with sympathetic sides (and good guys with dark sides). I wish his transformation into the villain of the show was a bit more gradual but I agree. I loved his character since the very first episode of the series, and in my opinion, turning him into a villain just strengthened his character arc. I'm sure there are enough fans out there to agree that it deserves its own unofficial subreddit. Tangled is both an amazingly awesome movie and TV Series by Disney.
